I'm quite certain this is not a conversation that too many people have with their husbands...
MY husband is special..I mean that in a nice way..really
MY husband likes clothes and shoes- nice, expensive clothes and shoes. Awesome right? NOOOO, not awesome. Not awesome when you discover that he has bought a $135 Polo shirt. Not just any Polo shirt you see, A custom fit, collectable World Cup Flag Polo..whatever! I don't give a crap - that is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a shirt of any kind!
I decide that I am going to count the number of "polo style" shirts he owns (FYI 35!), thinking that if I give him a number, he will see that he does not NEED anymore shirts! I send him an email stating this plan.
His response: Please don't touch my shirts - that is an invasion of my privacy (mind you these shirts reside in OUR closet) and "they're not bothering you!"
I wanted to be mad, but I litterally laughed outloud at work when I read that.
"They're not bothering you!" >>>>I'm sorry, are you 5? Of course they aren't bothering me, they are shirts.
As a follow-up - the above mentioned Polo shirt was promptly returned to Macy's the following weekend. $135.......good Lord help me

If it's not broke, don't fix it
So, not sure if this would be blog-worthy to anyone else..But
Okay I am slightly OCD, very routine and have my ways of doing things. So if you can relate to any of those things then perhaps you would also see why something as "small" as rearranging the isles at your local Publix could really throw you off.
I admittedly shop at my local Publix more than once a week - so often that I am FB friends with one of the cashier's- I know..sad. But she is nice and I also discovered in a random conversation in the checkout line that she also cannot get into bed if it is not made first - don't ask how in the world that came up.
Anyway, even if I only need one thing (which never really is the outcome) I can't just go in a get it and leave, I have to methodically go up and down each isle from right to left. WELL, on the day I realized that they changed around the isles I was so thrown off and annoyed. Who cares you ask? ME!! Dear Publix, stop it! Stop trying to change my comfortable grocery shopping routine, it's just not cool.
